Snitko-Pleszko lidia

Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She obtained her diploma at the Faculty of Interior Design in 1974. She studied painting in the atelier of Prof. Bogdan Urbanowicz and Prof. Irena Wilczyńska. Initially, she was involved in designing interiors and decorative elements: chandeliers, wall mosaics, metalwork.

With time, she sought new means of expression - her fascination with colour and line emerged. Since 1984, he has devoted himself exclusively to easel painting and drawing. He specialises in portraiture, which he most eagerly creates from nature in various painting techniques. She has had a dozen or so solo exhibitions at home and abroad and dozens of group exhibitions. She has received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and Art. She was awarded a distinction in a national competition for drawing organised by the Warsaw district of the Association of Polish Artists.

She was awarded the Talens Prize for lifetime achievement in 2009. She has participated in many auctions for charity. Many of her works are in private collections in European countries and the USA.
